Mount Sinai Queens is committed to the best diagnostic tests science can offer. Today, among the most accurate screenings for many conditions are those that look inside the body without surgically entering the body. These exams, such as the traditional X-rays, are often referred to as "imaging" exams.

The field of imaging has gone way beyond the still-useful X-ray. Doctors now have access to sophisticated imaging techniques such as MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), CT (computed tomography scan), and digital mammography. Exams like these offer doctors a more powerful and precise ability to see the interior of the body and thus spot abnormalities such as cancer or orthopedic problems.

Mount Sinai Queens has opened a brand-new imaging center, conveniently located on our first floor. We have recently acquired MRI technology, digital mammography, and a second CT scan so that we can offer our community convenient access to state-of-the-art imaging advances.
