Outpatient Care at Mount Sinai Queens

Our community’s good health is the number one priority at Mount Sinai Queens. That is why we offer multiple outpatient facilities and medical practices conveniently located across northwestern Queens that provide expert care in nearly 40 medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. The Mount Sinai Queens medical practices are staffed by experienced primary care physicians and specialists in office settings that are conducive to developing one-on-one relationships between patients and physicians. Our doctors treat sick patients while also focusing on preventive medicine, conducting thorough annual physicals and routine screenings to ensure the ongoing good health of our patients.

In addition to our medical practices, our outpatient facilities offer a wide range of comprehensive services, including outpatient surgery, imaging (including x-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and digital mammography), infusion treatments for patients with cancer and blood disorders, and physical rehabilitation services.

We are committed to providing all our patients with the highest level of quality, patient-centered care at all our practices and facilities.

For patients who speak a language other than English, special dual handset phones enable our providers to easily communicate in almost any language. Sign language and services for the hearing impaired are available at all our facilities.

We accept most major insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid.

How Our New Electronic Medical Record System, including MyChart, Improves Your Health Care Experience at Mount Sinai Queens

Our new state-of-the-art electronic medical record (EMR) system, provided by Epic, ensures greater communication among our medical team. If a patient is seen anywhere in the Mount Sinai system, whether at our hospital locations or at any of our medical practices, his or her doctors are able to securely share notes as well as the patient’s medical history and up-to-date radiology and lab reports, ensuring streamlined, timely medical care. When doctors prescribe medications, Epic considers what the patient is already taking and provides information about drug interactions, thus minimizing potential errors.

The new EMR system also allows patients to access their own medical records and test results online with MyChart, an interactive program that allows patients to communicate electronically with their medical team. MyChart also enables patients to view their health summaries and lab results, as well as request prescription renewals. After their first visit to a Mount Sinai Queens practice, patients are provided the webpage and activation code, so they can set up their own login and password for logging on.
