Below are some of our programs that allow you and your employees' expedited access to our hospital services. The Mount Sinai Queens is located in Long Island City.
Emergency Department (ED)
Located at 25-10 30th Avenue
Simply call our Workplace Wellness Manager to make arrangements and we will expedite your visit to the ED, getting you well and back to work as quickly as possible. Our ED physicians are board certified in Emergency Medicine and specially trained in Occupational Medicine.
Industrial Health Center (IHC)
A corporate health service created to evaluate and provide treatment for employees who are injured or become ill while at work. While all work-site emergencies continue to visit our Emergency Department, the IHC is a more efficient way to have employees with non-emergency needs or follow-up to emergency visits, examined by The Mount Sinai Queens Emergency Department physicians within a couple of days. Your employees will get in and out - with scheduled appointments and no waiting.
- IHC bills Workers' Compensation for all visits, pending collection of necessary information.
- Radiology, Blood Work, and other referral services are done during visit eliminating need for additional time away from work.
- Individual company paperwork is completed during appointments to facilitate return to work (e.g., Return To Work and Job Modification forms).
