Description

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than one third of children and adolescents are overweight or obese. Our pediatrician will explore the health effects of childhood obesity and discuss a combined approach of sensible diet and regular exercise to control weight gain and maintain normal growth in order to improve the overall health and self esteem of your child.

  
Presenter
Dr. Christopher Clemens is a board-certified pediatrician with 14 years of experience. He is on staff at Mount Sinai Queens and practices at Family Health Associates. Dr. Clemens loves working with children and their families and feels great compassion for them. He is deeply committed to multi-cultural urban pediatric and adolescent medicine.


Prior to joining Mount Sinai Queens, Dr. Clemens was a pediatric hospitalist and an outpatient clinic and emergency attending at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. Before that, he was a pediatric primary care attending physician in private practice.
Dr. Clemens received his medical training from Case Western University School of Medicine and The Hopkins Hospital at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
