In order to ensure the ongoing health of our community, the doctors, nurses, health care workers, and other experts at Mount Sinai Queens volunteer their time to offer lectures and workshops, health screenings, and interactive programs on a wide range of health topics. These programs are designed to promote health and well-being and to educate and empower people to make healthy lifestyle choices. These free events are open to the public and are held at the hospital and throughout the community at local libraries, schools, places of worship, senior centers, and other neighborhood locations.
A printed calendar of health and wellness events is mailed quarterly to community residents and advertised in local newspapers and is displayed at libraries and businesses in western Queens. To be added to our mailing list, call 718-267-4333.
