Mount Sinai Queens is a welcoming community hospital in New York City, located in the Astoria section of Queens, offering quality outpatient, emergency and inpatient medical services. Our adult acute care hospital has a highly trained team of nearly 500 physicians representing close to 40 medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties.
Mount Sinai Queens is the Queens campus of The Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, currently ranked among the top 20 hospitals in America by US News & World Report. It is the only community hospital to bear the Mount Sinai name. Since joining Mount Sinai Medical Center in 1999, we have worked hard to renovate the facility, introduce state-of-the-art technology, attract high-caliber physicians and continually improve the quality of health care.
We provide outstanding inpatient and outpatient programs tailored to the needs of our western Queens community. These include comprehensive services in stroke and stroke prevention, breast health, palliative care including pain management, minimally invasive surgery and orthopaedic surgery, among many others. Mount Sinai Queens is designated by New York State as a Primary Stroke Center. We have also earned this distinction from The Joint Commission – the gold standard of health care – and we are the only hospital in the borough of Queens to have earned this special certification.
Mount Sinai Queens continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the neighborhoods we serve. Recent improvements have made Mount Sinai Queens a reliable, trusted community resource, offering highly trained physicians and medical staff, first-rate medical technology, attractive, efficient facilities, and easy, seamless access to the Manhattan campus of The Mount Sinai Hospital. As a hospital in the most ethnically diverse county in the nation, the physicians and staff of Mount Sinai Queens speak more than 35 languages.
